Job Description

• Install , repair, and improve electrical systems and components such as fuses, lights, and wiring.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical systems and component problems.
• All work must be completed in accordance with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
• To ensure proper operation, test electrical systems and components.
• Complete all the necessary repair and service documentation.
• Maintain an adequate supply of necessary supplies and parts.
• Calibrate the equipment according to the specifications provided.
• Preventive maintenance should be performed on electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshoot issues and make repairs as soon as possible.

Requirements

• An electrician apprenticeship program is required.
• It is preferable to have completed an electrician’s program at a technical or trade school.
• In the state of practice, a journeyman electrician’s license is required.
• 3-5 years of electrical experience are required.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where you practice
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
• Bending, climbing, squatting, reaching, and kneeling.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory and the principles, materials, and equipment associated with it.
• Ability to use hand and power tools related to electrical work.
• Capability to solve basic mathematical problems.
• Willing to work additional hours
