Responsibilities :
- Troubleshooting, carrying out necessary repairs
- Conducting preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, support equipment and packaging equipment
- Maintaining the Injection machines, Lining machines, Assembly machines, Utility sport equipment, Injection and assembly molds, Tooling etc.
- Providing support to the maintenance department as required
Requirements :
- Industrial trade license is required / Dual-Ticket is considered a definite preference -(Mechanical / Electrical)
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in the following areas : Installation of molds, mold heat controllers, mold water cooling circuits, overhead cranes, injection molding processing and troubleshooting, mold repair, high speed packaging equipment repair, facility equipment maintenance and repair, ISO Implementation, Health and Safety, WHMIS
- Competent in several of the following areas : windows-based programs, blueprint reading, pneumatics, hydraulics, injection processing, electrical code, PLC troubleshooting, electrical controls, machine shop equipment, metal fabrication, mechanical principles, welding, brazing, plumbing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
