Job description : Your role :

Services :

  • Provide exceptional service including : productivity-enhancing sales and merchandising tactics, product knowledge and sales sessions, ensuring display model functionality, merchandising, order and inventory management (including ordering, inventory reconciliation, inventory, selling excess inventory, timely returns processing) and marketing and promotional programs for each customer.

Sales planning, execution, reporting :

  • Develop a territory business plan that supports the company's objectives and targets.
  • Increase sales through new listings for new and existing products by increasing shelf space in-store or off-shelf
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of good relationships with key decision-makers and staff
  • Liaise with various departments (customer service, credit, technical assistance, marketing and warehouse)
  • Communicate to management achievements, threats, opportunities and any other matters deemed important

    • Other :

  • Participate in special projects, not limited to store openings, including merchandising redesign, buying lounge or weekend events.
  • Assist in the development and marketing of product lines and customer-specific planograms
  • Participate in the development of prototype merchandising models
  • Write standard and ad hoc reports (as requested)
  • Manage budgeted expense allocation and maintain company products in 100% operational condition

    • Skills and qualifications :

  • Post-secondary diploma in business administration, sales or marketing is an asset
  • Valid Quebec driver's license
  • 2-5 years experience in merchandising or outside sales
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good time management and autonomous
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, positive and proactive attitude
  • Proven track record in customer service and sales achievements
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, high level of honesty and integrity
  • Ability to develop and follow a sales plan for the territory
  • Retail or merchandising / retail experience an asset
  • Experience in assembling in-store displays and prototypes using manual / electric tools
  • Available to travel (including air) and willing to work atypical hours as required
  • Able to relocate (for account reassignment / store responsibility)
