Markets Technology Business Manager
Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Markets Technology Business Manager
This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.
Video / f2f interviews are required prior to all offers.
Markets Technology Business Manager
Client are recruiting for a Business Manager within our Markets Technology space. The Business Management team is responsible for the groups ongoing planning, administrative and organizational development activities.
This includes management of the technology budget, project financials, headcount planning, vendor management, senior management reporting, leading culture and communications initiatives as well as providing ongoing support to the Markets technology Business Execution office teams.
The Business Manager is a senior level position responsible for working within our team to drive the overall administrative activities of the business.
The Business Manager coordinates and manages activities such as the tracking of business financials, employee headcount and other administrative needs as necessary.
Manages ad hoc projects as needed.
Responsibilities :
Complete financial deliverables including monthly forecasts, the annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests
Work with diverse stakeholders such as Chief of Staff teams, Finance, HR, Central Business Office etc.
Assist leadership / Chief of Staff in execution financial responsibilities, promoting and executing communications program
Prepare materials and follow-up as needed on items for business committees and / or regular business meetings
Look for ways to streamline processes including the use of automation
Assist leadership and stakeholders with developing projects, determining strategies, and defining / providing metrics
Drive implementation of business-driven projects across functions, working closely with relevant senior leadership
Analyze Book of Work project financials and ensure they are in line with expectations.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Banking, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications :
Extensive experience in financial markets business or business support
Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office product suite; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint essential
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education :
Bachelor s Degree / University degree or equivalent experience operating in a similar role
