Minimum Qualifications :

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• 3 years Experience on a paving crew

Preferred Qualifications :

Applicants need to be a member and in good standing with IUOE 793

Day in the Life :

Operate the Shuttle Buggy : Safely operate the shuttle buggy to receive hot mix asphalt from dump trucks or trailers and transfer it into the paver hopper / hopper insert in a continuous flow to facilitate non-stop paving.

Daily Maintenance :

Perform daily machine inspection and maintenance as per manufacturer's guidelines.

Communication :

Maintain constant radio communication with the dumpman and Paver Operator to monitor paving speed, truck exchange, obstacles or site conditions to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

$44.78 per hour
