Job description

Are you a licensed millwright or maintenance technician with experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry?

We have partnered with a reputable food brand in Woodbridge, Ontario looking to add a Maintenance Technician with a strong PLC / automation skillset to join their tight-knit, highly skilled maintenance team!

Shift - Continental Days OR Continental Nights

Location - Woodbridge

Pay - $40-42 + OT

Responsibilities

  • Consult manufacturer's manuals, circuit diagrams and blueprints to determine tests and maintenance procedures for instruments used for measuring and controlling flow, level, pressure, temperature, and other variables in packaging and processing.
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machine and the plant facility equipment.
  • Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Works collaboratively and professionally with all management and colleagues.
  • Qualifications

  • 433a Industrial Millwright license or working towards becoming licensed
  • Experience within the food or pharmaceutical industries
  • PLC or automation experience is a huge asset
  • Able to work independently or within team settings
  • MUST have good attitude + work ethic
