Role Details

Work Location – Kingston, ON
Shift / Hours or Hybrid Environment – Monday to Friday- On-site
The full base salary range for this position is from $79,200 - $110,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity

The Supervisor, Distribution and Warehouse is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and warehouse employees as well as Field Service employees. They ensure the products are properly received, stored, and effectively distributed to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Responsibilities

Supervising a team of 30+ distribution and warehouse employees, while respecting budgetary constraints

Provide leadership and guidance to the Field Operations team

Understand the scope of delivering the Field Service vision and strategy

Audit Fountain Equipment installations to ensure adherence to guidelines and policies of Coca-Cola

Maintain a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace

Improve productivity of the workforce through current technology enablement, training, process improvement and identifying best practices (e.g., 5S & Lean)

Work cross functionally with Equipment Installation Planning and Sales resources to support special projects as well as routine activities

Staff, train, coach, evaluate and develop team members

Oversee storage, shipping and receiving of goods

Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements

Manage drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked

Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues

Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions

Manage and audit team members' timekeeping

Manage within labor and OPEX budget

Qualifications

Post secondary education in a related field or experience deemed equivalent

Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred.

3+ years experience in consumer products / direct store delivery required

3+ years experience of supervisory experience required

Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations

Ability to provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team

Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees

Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision

Possess excellent organization and time-management skills

Be familiar with department of transportation regulations

Be a leader, a good communicator, and a convener

Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools

Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
