Senior Researcher - Deadly Choices page is loaded## Senior Researcher - Deadly Choiceslocations : Windsor, Queenslandtime type : Full timeposted on : Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id : JR100037 Join an Organisation dedicated to Closing the Gap in Indigenous Health The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated / integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.The Quality and Innovation Unit supports key IUIH Network backbone functions including planning; public health; data and health information management; service design, development, implementation and continuous improvement; healthcare quality and safety; and evaluation and research.The Senior Researcher - Deadly Choices will be responsible for contributing to research and evaluation. As a Senior Researcher, you will apply your knowledge to program planning, analysis and interpretation of health data, contributing to CQI activities and the evaluation of Deadly Choices, and the growth and development of research across Deadly Choices.In this role you will : * Collect, analyse, and interpret data from partners participating, and delivering, the Deadly Choices program* Contribute to the evidence base underpinning Deadly Choices by supporting the preparation and submission of reports, manuscripts to relevant journals, presentations and conference proceedings.* Actively foster productive working relationships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, sporting partners, corporate and government partners and other Deadly Choices partners to support the identified research and evaluation priorities.* Utilise evaluation frameworks and methods to evaluate Deadly Choices programs and services* Apply knowledge, experience and skills to develop a research and evaluation program for Deadly Choices.* Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects* Post-graduate qualifications in related field* Current Criminal History Check* Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD) Desirable, but not mandatory : Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and / or communities*At IUIH we recognise that we operate in a diverse community and welcome and encourage applications from all ages and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, the LGBTIQ+ community, veterans, refugees, and people with disability.
