This home requires an experienced dynamic and effective manger to lead and supervise a staff team in supporting two Individuals with complex needs. Working collaboratively with a professional network is essential to this position. Only serious applicants that meet the stated qualification need apply.

Job Description

• To provide a safe supportive structured and developmentally appropriate home environment that promotes a sense of overall well-being belonging and empowerment for the individual as well as the care team.
• To manage all aspects of the home environment including : individual care team building home operations and finances.
• To collaborate with the individual their families and other stakeholders to pro-actively create and promote a plan of care which affords opportunities for inclusion and full participation in both the community and the individuals home life.
• The role includes the requirement to work in a stressful environment often dealing with individuals and staff in crisis situations. The ability to function independently under pressure while effectively and resourcefully managing emergency situations is an ongoing expectation of the role.
• Evening and weekend work may be required.

Requirements : Education

Individual degree / diploma and experience considered;
