Description
Make a difference in a child's life by helping children reach their full potential. This unique program is ideal for someone who is a true mentor and likes to teach children in grades 1 to 5 basic fundamentals. Activities will include interactive educational games, one on one assistance and independent work with supervision.
Responsibilities
This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with children and has experience supervising children and organizing programs. You will need to be knowledgeable, supportive and patient, with the ability to inspire intellectual growth. Individuals will design and facilitate personal learning goals and activities that engage children in high level cognitive activity. Our tutors serve as a role model invested in the learners well-being, health and safety, physically, socially and emotionally.
Community services hours are provided.
