Job descriptionGrade 12 diploma or equivalent Successful candidate must be a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, or registered to attend one in the fall. Transcript or proof of enrollment must be provided with submission of application. Must have the proven ability to participate with individuals at all levels of an organization Organizational skills and the ability to identify and manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Good communication skills required. Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate airport security clearance, acceptable criminal record check is required.

Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Maintenance, the Facilities Maintenance Summer Student is accountable to support facilities maintenance activities and initiatives for the airport.
Day in The Life
You might be wondering what you can expect in a typical day at work. Every day will bring new opportunities, focusing on key responsibilities, including :
- Maintenance cleaning within the parkade expansion joints and catch basin areas.
- Paint preparation around different areas in the YEG parkade.
- Spring cleaning of trench drains.
- Overall site clean-ups.
- Ceiling tile replacements.
- Diffuser and exhaust vent cleaning throughout the terminal.

SALARY : $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
