About the Job
The Field Welder will be responsible for providing on-site repairs and maintenance on waste compactors and balers. You will work from a company repair truck and be dispatched to customer sites to perform welding repairs on recycling containers, equipment, grates, railings, and related items. This role involves direct customer interaction, requiring high-level customer service and communication with client users, operators, and employees.
While most work will be performed independently after training, collaboration with other technicians and support staff is expected to ensure quality service.
Location and Work Arrangements
Location : Field Welders have the option to take home the company vehicle and work from their home location.
Work Hours : 8 am to 4 : 30 pm, with overtime and on-call duties required.

Work Environment and Safety
Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, stooping, and kneeling. Ability to drive safely for extended periods and operate tools with manual dexterity is required. Working near waste materials necessitates adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols, including wearing protective gear.
