Job Summary

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing analyzing and maintaining pricing strategies and models for plumbing and HVAC products. This role supports sales operations and management teams by providing data-driven insights to maximize profitability ensure market competitiveness and support strategic decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing models for plumbing and HVAC products parts and services.
• Analyze market trends competitor pricing and customer demand to recommend pricing adjustments.
• Partner with sales purchasing and operations to ensure pricing aligns with cost structures and profitability goals.
• Monitor product costs to ensure accurate pricing.
• Track gross margin performance by product line and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support annual price reviews and promotional pricing campaigns.
• Maintain pricing databases and ERP systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare regular pricing and profitability reports for senior management.
• Identify pricing anomalies or inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide pricing guidance and support to sales leaders and account managers. Work with procurement to understand cost fluctuations.
• Communicate pricing changes internally and ensure timely implementation.
• Implement pricing best practices and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall business performance.
