We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the financial industry. Reporting to the VP of Brand and Advertising, this role is essential in driving operational efficiencies in Marketing that impact the organization, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and implementing best practices. The Marketing Operations Manager will oversee marketing projects, manage the budget, and ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with broader business goals. You will work closely with the senior leads on the marketing team to ensure successful project delivery and team communication.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Management : Lead the project timelines to ensure successful delivery across multiple channels. Proactively identify and address roadblocks in cross-functional projects, aligning marketing efforts with financial industry strategies.
  • Budget Management : Oversee and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring resource allocation maximizes return on investment and contracts are fulfilled on time and on budget.
  • Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve outcomes. Capture and document lessons learned to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the marketing team.
  • Marketing Technology : When required, manage and optimize internal marketing tools such as SharePoint, Pardot, and Engage to streamline communications and content for clients, advisors, and associates, ensuring all efforts align with financial goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration, execution of marketing initiatives and weekly reporting. Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience Required to Excel in This Role :

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or marketing strategy roles, with a minimum of 5 years in the financial industry.
  • Strong expertise in project management, with a demonstrated track record of leading multiple, cross-functional marketing projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in marketing performance analysis, providing data-driven insights to refine and execute marketing strategies.
  • Technical proficiency in marketing tools such as SharePoint, Pardot, and Engage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective stakeholder collaboration and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Solid understanding of compliance requirements specific to marketing in the financial services sector.
  • Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications in project management (PMP) or marketing (e.g., Certified Financial Marketing Professional - CFMP) are considered a plus.
