Financial Reporting is a core compliance tool and we continue to grow as a differentiator for our Carta Cap Table Management offering. As a Full Stack Software Engineer on Financial Reporting, you’ll work to:

• Further enhance our Financial Reporting offering by building new features and intuitive user experience
• Full-stack role with more emphasis on backend development
• Architect, design and code highly available, secure, and scalable financial platforms
• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, engineers and designers to solve complex challenges

The Team You'll Work With

You’ll be joining our Financial Reporting team of software engineers and domain experts within the App Platform organization.

Financial Reporting is a compliance tool for financial audits and used by our Corporation and LLC clients. It is one of the product differentiators in the Cap Table Management and also the stickiest.

We are a team of full stack and backend engineers, product manager, designer and business analysts that love hearing new ideas and learning from others’ experiences.

About You

You deeply care about your users and their problems. You are relentless in your pursuit to build delightful user experiences that wow the customer. You are energized by solving deep problems collaboratively.

Additionally,

• Proficient and passionate in our technology stack such as Python, Django, Scala, React, Typescript, Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, and CSS3.
• Possess a strong understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
• Have 1-4 years of experience building full-stack production systems, with a focus on backend development.
• Desire to become an expert in the product domain and adept at refining ambiguous product requirements to deliver customer value.
• Enthusiastic about collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, product, business, and marketing, taking ownership of initiatives from start to finish.
