Material Planner

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a Material Planner in Burlington, ON (On-site).
Responsibilities:

• Align supply and inventory with demand forecasts in collaboration with Marketing and Operations.
  
• Ensure timely delivery of quality materials to support project and production needs.
  
• Support New Product Development (NPDI) by securing materials and managing vendor contracts.
  
• Monitor market trends, negotiate with suppliers, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  
• Forecast material demand, maintain inventory accuracy, and oversee work orders.
  
• Coordinate material flow between teams and vendors while ensuring ERP data integrity.
  
• Provide reports and insights to support production planning and project milestones.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, materials, or supply chain management within a manufacturing or project-based environment.
  
• CSCP, SCMP, or APICS certification preferred.
  
• Skilled in material planning, inventory control, and ERP systems.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.
