We are looking for a customer service and administrative professional to become a Building Admin. This role works closely with the site Team to support success of our apartment complexes and Hazelview overall.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Education & Experience :
- Completion of High School or general education degree (GED)
- 3+ years of related experience in a customer service or related role
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Email, Internet)
- Exposure to multi-residential or other related industry asset class would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of current laws, legislation and rights concerning residents would be an asset

The Property Administrator is primarily responsible for the general administration and oversight of the property and to ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to Residents thereby ensuring that Hazelview Properties is the preferred landlord of choice.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Service :
Ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to residentsPromptly respond to resident issues and service requestsBe available to residents for general inquiries about living in their suite, building and communityAdministration :
Oversee and coordinate all office administration, including ordering office supplies, organizing and maintaining filing system, email, phone calls and walk-in visitorsProvide information to residents and ensures all resident concerns are acted upon in a timely mannerEnsure terms of the lease agreements are met and administer damages / security deposits and chargesResponsible for enforcing the terms of lease agreements, such as rent collection, rules and regulations, and following procedures of serving notices to residents.Take in vacancy notices, age receivables insurance compliance, and rent rollsBe involved in hearings including creating files, preparing evidence and gathering back-up materialsProcessing and preparing Purchase Orders and includes in tracking sheetAny special projects as they ariseOperations :
Receives and schedules service requestsInvolved in “move-in, move-out” proceduresAssist in training on-site administrative Team MembersAll other duties within the scope of the job, as requested by management.Accounting :
Assist and oversee Payscan processReview change in status forms to ensure they are complete and accurate and submit to lease administration at head office for entryProcessing of all correspondence as required under local housing laws and regulations (i.e. N4's, L1's, bylaw, etc.)WHAT WE OFFER YOU
