Our Onyx Underwriting Managers customize solutions for our high net-worth clients as well as lead and develop a team of underwriters. They work closely with our extensive broker network to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk. They are people-centric leaders who truly care about the development of their teams and invest in their career growth.

They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our brokers – this means emails and phone calls don’t go unanswered, and in-person broker meetings are regularly penned into their calendars. They also pay attention to the smallest of details, and work closely with our Actuarial and Claims Departments.

We want your talent

If you are great at :

Personal Lines underwriting, with a focus on the high net-worth segment

Responsible for the successful evaluation, documentation, selection, negotiation, and pricing for assigned policies

Sales & Negotiation

Develop and maintain a professional relationship with brokers and / or customers

Coaching & Mentoring

Operation leadership

If you have :

10+ years of Personal Lines Underwriting experience

Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience

Experience leading or mentoring a team

Experience with overseeing change management

Completed, or pursuing your CIP or FCIP designations

Strong customer service background
