Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opportunity for a Manager to join our Revenue Control Finance team.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

  • Responsible for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the Revenue Control team.
  • Develops and implements the tools required for efficient work organization.
  • Responsible for meeting end-of-period deadlines and ensuring the analysis, monitoring, control, accounting and interpretation of financial impacts at National level.
  • Sets team objectives to support business strategy and to support the diverse needs of the Merchandising and National Sourcing teams.
  • Produce forcasts and budgets for the supplier revenue section.
  • Be the business partner of the Merchandising and National Sourcing teams to support them in negotiations and encourage them to achieve their objectives.
  • Explain periodic variations in Supplier Revenues to Finance and National Sourcing teams.

What you have to offer :

  • Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Bilingual (French-English) is a strong asset. The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada
  • Solves wide-ranging and more complex problems.
