Job Overview
Reports to : Customer Service Representative, Supervisor
Shift : 4x3, 10-hour shifts
Location : Sparwood, British Columbia
Relocation : This position does not offer relocation
Key Job Responsibilities
- Provides first point of contact to customers and aids with all parts related inquiries.
- Responsible for providing accurate quotes for mine sites and shop.
- Receives, processes, and revises all purchase orders from the customer and major shut down orders to ensure accuracy of ordered parts.
- Manages effective communication with external and internal customers to effectively resolve problems and issues that affect orders and delivery.
- Processes returns and credits from the customers, both external and internal.
- Coordinate with the AR group to resolve any past due invoices.
- Enter and maintain data into Component Tracking System and generate various reports as needed.
- Assists purchaser in locating and sourcing parts from outside vendors when required.
- Be available to provide on-call after-hours duties, about once every four to six weeks.
- Daily contact with Planning, Purchasing, and Maintenance departments from each mine site.
- Provide strong customer support and build positive relationships to enhance business opportunities with both internal and external customers including travel to customer sites.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 1 3 years of Customer Service experience.
- High School Diploma Graduate.
- Journeyman Parts tickets would be an asset.
- Candidate must have exceptional customer service skills and some background or experience in parts would be considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills are a must have with the ability to interact with both internal and external customers.
- Candidate must be self-motivated, detailed orientated and have a high level of accuracy, as they will be responsible for updating and maintaining various systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines would benefit the successful candidate.
- Solid analytical, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Up to 10% travel or as required.
