Financial Analyst - Senior

Our client, a large insurance company, is looking for a Financial Analyst - Senior for a 6-month contract located in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst - Senior with a financial services background

As a Financial Analyst - Senior your duties will include but not be limited to :

Completing all DOE accounting and reporting tasks on time.

Completing trend, performance, and variance analysis; evaluating financial data to ensure risks are detected and underlying reasons of deviations are comprehended.

Performing operational and SOX controls, including reconciliations to support balance sheet and expense account attestations.

Qualifications required for the Financial Analyst - Senior include :

5+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis

Has obtained or is working towards a CPA designation
