QA Engineer (AI Projects) [BHJOB13022_13481]

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a QA Automation Engineer (AI Projects) - SDET to join our Client's team on a contract basis. This role is Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite per month) and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.

Summary of the Role :

This contract role offers an opportunity to lead QA automation for cutting-edge AI projects. The successful candidate will work with innovative teams building rapid prototypes and emerging technology solutions, shifting the testing approach from quality control to a quality assurance mindset.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Automate testing functions, including script conversion and QA activities using AI and emerging technologies.
• Perform both automated and occasional manual testing on Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and related projects.
• Utilize experience with Agile, DevOps, test-driven development, and cloud environments.
• Use and integrate advanced technologies such as AI, ML, Blockchain, and LLMs in QA processes.
• Maintain and automate updates to test artifacts, UAT libraries, and test data in response to changes.

This is a 12-month contract role. The work arrangement is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per month at the client’s Richmond office. The client will conduct reference checks at the time of interview, and a background check will be required at the offer stage.
