What you will do :
Winding and assembling of various types of coils for electric motors and related equipmentTroubleshooting and dismantling equipmentInspection, cleaning, testing and estimating jobs to strict standardsReporting findings to Shop ForemanRemoval and installation of bearings, shafts, seals, impellers, blower wheels and other related componentsWelding, brazing or soldering as requiredUpon approval assembling and testing of customer jobsResponsible for keeping own work station cleanResponsible for ensuring that shop machines i.e. lathes, grinders, etc. as well as areas under machinery are kept clean and swept clear of excess debris after each use.What you will bring :
Journeyman Certificate as an Electric Motor Systems Technician, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant trade experience is required.Proficient in the operation of all shop equipment and tools.Must possess personal mechanical hand tools.Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent manual dexterity.Effective communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and efficiently.Strong listening skills with the ability to follow directions effectively.Proven ability to complete paperwork and reports accurately and on time.Capable of interacting professionally with a wide range of personalities.Ability to maintain composure and manage frustration in high-pressure situations.
