Intermediate Estimator - Concrete Forming (Highrises)
Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Estimator to join their reputable construction company for their highrise projects, specifically focusing on concrete forming.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for accurately estimating and analyzing costs associated with concrete forming activities.
- Conduct detailed analysis of project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine the scope of work for concrete forming.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates by calculating material quantities, labor requirements, and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to gather necessary information and clarify project requirements.
- Utilize industry-standard software and tools to perform cost estimations efficiently and ensure accuracy.
- Perform detailed quantity takeoff for concrete forming materials and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and propose innovative solutions while maintaining project quality and safety.
- Prepare competitive bid proposals based on accurate cost estimations and project requirements.
- Maintain organized project files, generate reports on cost estimates and variances, and assist in change order estimates.
- Salary : $100k+ Depending on Experience
Requirements :
