Courses to teach : ESLEO / ENG3U / ENG4U / CGW4U / CHI4U / HSC4M / HFA4U / OLC4O

Summary of Duties :

  • Develop outlines of courses of study, unit teaching plan, and daily lesson plan compliance with Ontario Schools, Kindergarten to Grade 12, Policy and Program Requirements, 2016.
  • Instruct class according to daily lesson plan using appropriate and relevant resources and methods of delivery by the Curriculum Guidelines / Growing Success.
  • Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance; report on attendance as required.
  • Conduct regular student assessments and evaluations to determine student progress; report as required.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, bias-free, positive, and respectful learning environment that recognizes individual differences.
  • Get everything ready 10 minutes earlier before the class starts.
  • Ensure that the classroom and equipment are tidy and secure at the close of class.
  • Other related duties and school activities as assigned.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

    • Requirements :

  • Education level - University.
  • 1-year experience.
  • OCT is preferred.

    • Other :

    Health and dental insurance is provided for employees with a contract of 6 months or more.
