Reporting to the Regional VP of Operations, you will be in charge of the Secured Transport team within our Cash Services Division. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work of your team and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing :
Continuously review the day to day operations within the branch to optimize resources, improve profitability, and customer service – implementing change where necessaryOversee the development and monitor adherence to the branch budgetEnsure that all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements are met, and that GardaWorld procedures and standards (including health and safety, security, personnel, finance and transport) are consistently appliedProvide coaching and mentoring to the management team by setting clear objectives, communicating openly, holding regular management meetings, monitoring performance, and taking corrective action, as appropriateEnsure that staff maintain a high level of customer careMaintain a good relationship between management and the unionWork with HR, and in a collaborative manner, to apply corporate policies to manage disciplinary matters arising in the branch, including dismissals, grievances, absenteeism, health and safety issues – communicating any changes in terms and conditions to staff on a timely basisEnsure the integrity and accuracy of information entered into the Branch System database (operational, tracking, and billing systems)Conduct investigations, when necessary, in cooperation with internal or external agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents and to improve safety proceduresWhat we are looking for :
5-8 years’ experience in management of unionized employees or equivalentTransportation / logistics services industry experience (cash, courier services, etc.)Knowledge of best practices in health and safety in a unionized work environmentKnowledge of WSBC reporting and claim management processesExcellent written and verbal communication skills (English)Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointValid driver’s licence with a good driving recordHold a valid restricted PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence), an assetProven Operations experience in a senior management capacityExcellent union relationship management experienceExcellent negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHighly customer-service and results orientedAbility to manage the implementation of strategic objectivesHigh degree of integrity, trustworthyLI-FB1
