Job description

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional card dealer. This position requires schedule flexibility including evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts. If this sounds like the opportunity for you, then get in the game... It’s All You.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide exceptional guest service while conducting all games in a precise, efficient and secure manner
  • Maintain game integrity; monitor game limits and cash / value transactions
  • Exchanging customer cash and promotional vouchers for equivalent value chips
  • Controlling the order of play; closing bets at the appropriate time; maintaining table security
  • Handle complimentary guest requests
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
  • Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

  • Must have professional experience dealing Blackjack
  • Passion for providing the Essential Elements of Excellence to our guest in the quest of achieving service excellence.
  • Strong communication and mathematical skills
  • Manual dexterity and ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to adapt and work a flexible schedule
  • Proven excellent guest service and people skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Serving it Right license
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Work Environment Considerations

  • Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, dealing cards for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, non-traditional work hours
