What you’ll be doing :

  • Participate in cases that proceed to treatment
  • Monitor each case and proactively advise Service Providers about approaching deadlines and deliverables
  • Review Service Provider progress updates and other documentation; escalate any concerns about content to Clinical Manager
  • Provide regular updates to the employer, union and insurer
  • Coordinate referrals to inpatient / outpatient treatment and monitor compliance throughout the programming
  • Research and screen alternate inpatient / outpatient treatment options
  • Follow specific protocols for non-negative test results and support customers through the relapse process
  • Maintain direct client contact to ensure client / work is complying with the treatment plan
  • Prepare client progress reports
  • Maintain client electronic files and applicable trackers
  • Complete and submit billing for customers / clinicians
  • Attend team meetings and provide backup coverage for co-workers as required

What we’re looking for :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related health discipline is preferred but not required
  • Two to five years’ experience in administration / case management; disability management background preferred
  • Knowledge of case management principles, practices and processes
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong assessment and decision-making skills
  • Experience handling confidential medical documentation
  • Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills
  • Caring and approachable yet objective
  • Exceptional customer service delivery skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
