Position Overview :
Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastucture, this position will provide support to end users across the organization.
What You Will Do :
- Utilize a help desk system to provide support to end-users : researching, troubleshooting issues, and documenting.
- Own customer technical issues from initial report to resolution, communicating with customers regularly regarding issue status.
- Triage and coordinate complex cases
- Support the development and execution of IT projects
- Install and maintain computer equipment and peripheral hardware and software.
- Monitor systems performance and respond to issues
- Provide on-call and after hours support for outages and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring :
3+ years' experience in help desk, IT support, or its equivalent.Strong self-motivation with a passion for ITExcellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skillsStrong customer service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to conduct research into a wide range of tech support issuesExperience supporting and administering Windows 11 and Office 365Experience with virtualization platforms including VMwareExperience with back-up systemsExperience with an assortment of back-up hardware including tape drives, USB drives and Disk-to-disk systemsExperience with networking concepts including TCP / IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, and other networking conceptsPractical knowledge of workstation management and troubleshootingExperience with networking hardwareExperience with installing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and Active DirectoryBasic understanding of PowerShellExperience with troubleshooting and supporting mobile devicesExperience with troubleshooting printers, scanner and various other peripheralsAbility to install, configure, administer and troubleshoot a wide range of desktop hardware and software.What We Will Do For You :
