The Outsystems Practice Lead is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality Outsystems solutions to our clients, managing the Outsystems practice team, and supporting our Outsystems platforms.

You will report to the Head of Architecture and Common Platforms and work closely with out IT and Digital delivery teams.

Our digital channel apps support over 400,000 customers and delivery of the next generation apps forms a key part of our ongoing transformation program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Outsystems developers and consultants, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and support to deliver exceptional outcomes for our stakeholders.
  • Manage support of our cloud-based and on-premises Outsystems platforms, including security controls, patching, asset lifecycle management and other IT general controls.
  • Define and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for Outsystems development and delivery, ensuring quality, performance, security, and scalability of the solutions.
  • Manage the Outsystems teams’ resource allocation across the MMS project portfolio and our digital squads
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Outsystems partner and vendor ecosystem
  • Develop the technology roadmap for our Outsystems low code
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in the Outsystems platform and the low-code market, and share the knowledge and insights with the team and the clients
  • You will be happy to be hands-on as and when necessary

You will bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or relevant work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Outsystems development and delivery, with proven track record of successful projects and satisfied clients
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading and managing a team of Outsystems developers and consultants, with demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Strong knowledge of Outsystems architecture, design patterns, best practices, and integration capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand the client's needs and expectations and deliver value-added solutions
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about Outsystems and low-code development, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
