Procurement Analyst

For our client in the mining industry, we are seeking two analytical and solutions-focused professionals to support a pilot program aimed at improving the availability of spare parts critical to maintenance operations. These roles play a key part in identifying and resolving the root causes behind concierge ticket creation, with the goal of streamlining procurement processes and enhancing the overall support experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor incoming concierge queries.
  • Determine the urgency of each concierge ticket.
  • Ensure correct classification and routing of tickets to appropriate resolvers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of delays in purchase requisition to purchase order processing.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency in transactional procurement processes.
  • Analyze data and trends to support continuous improvement of the concierge support model.
  • Support the reduction of ongoing ticket volumes through proactive issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Purchase to Pay team to optimize spare parts availability.
  • Adapt to potential evolution of responsibilities, maintaining focus on analytical functions.
  • What you will need to succeed :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in transactional buying or procurement operations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and procurement-related systems.
  • Systems knowledge of SAP and ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and procurement workflows.
  • Bilingual in English and French to support effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders in both languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
  • Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with local procurement regulations and practices.
