Must have strong hands-on technical skills to contribute during technical design discussions and requirement clarifications
Must be able to work with the current team to understand application design and data-flow with minimal ramp up time.
Must follow code / design best practices during development and also guide juniors in the team.
Must be ready to work in an agile / dynamic environment and take lead of end to end deliverables

Must Have for DEV :

6+ years. Strong Java, J2EE , Spring (Spring boot, Batch, DI etc.), Knowledge on micro-services, Database / Batch Processing skills, Hands-on Linux scripting experience.

Nice To Have DEV :

Big Data experience, JMS and MQ.
