Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Full‑Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Westhill Pharmasave in Nanaimo, BC.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

• Open availability required, including daytime, closing, and weekend shifts.
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high‑quality patient care.
• Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner.
• Assist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.
• Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols.
• Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits.
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations.
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers.
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
