Nuclear Steam Plant (NSP) engineering, Balance of Plant (BOP) engineering, New Plant Design and execution, Plant Life Management and Extension, Retube Tooling Systems, Inspection and Maintenance Services, Steam Generator Replacement, Plant Equipment Refurbishment and Retrofits.

The most advanced reactor design available from AtkinsRéalis, with the highest output of any CANDU technology at 1,000 MW, the CANDU MONARK is currently in the definition phase. It leverages CANDU technology's tested and reliable design features together with the most modern and advanced engineering solutions; a Canadian solution for utilities faced with meeting the dual demands of Net Zero and energy security.

The position is to provide management oversight and direction to large nuclear green field engineering projects. This position will report to the SVP, Engineering.

This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.

Your role within the team

• Leadership and Oversight responsibility for Design of Monark reactor including Design authority delegated from Chief Nuclear Engineer.
• Leadership and sponsoring of Engineering improvement activities to support business plan and financial goals.
• Manage the mentoring and coaching of staff, including development and execution of improvement plans, regular feedback, and succession planning. Must have strong people skills and demonstrated ability to lead with the highest standard of respect, ethics, and professionalism.
• Manage all department resources within business plan and financial targets.
• Responsible for negotiation and communication with Project Partners with respect to Configuration Management requirements and work Processes.
