Coordinator, Distribution Center

The Coordinator, Operations is accountable for delivering the expected results to his / her immediate superior for the responsibilities listed in this job description. These responsibilities will be validated and measured throughout the year by occasional meetings with his / her immediate superior, by performance indicators and during the annual performance appraisal. He / she is also required to perform his / her work in accordance with the company's values and the 4 SRQP performance dials - OHS, Employee Relations, Quality, Productivity.

Your responsibilities will be as follows :

• Monitor operations under his / her responsibility;
• Manage and optimize the capacity of the fleet assigned to him;
• Plan drivers' schedules and ensure their availability;
• Demonstrate respect and fairness in dealings with drivers;
• Verify the quality of handlers on the dock;
• Follow up customer requests and ensure their satisfaction;
• Solve operational problems and manage unforeseen events;
• Participate in administrative tasks inherent to the position;
• Update information in the customer's system.
