The Coordinator, Operations is accountable for delivering the expected results to his / her immediate superior for the responsibilities listed in this job description.
These responsibilities will be validated and measured throughout the year by occasional meetings with his / her immediate superior, by performance indicators and during the annual performance appraisal.
He / she is also required to perform his / her work in accordance with the company's values and the 4 SRQP performance dials - OHS, Employee Relations, Quality, Productivity.
Your responsibilities will be as follows :
- Monitor operations under his / her responsibility;
- Manage and optimize the capacity of the fleet assigned to him;
- Plan drivers' schedules and ensure their availability;
- Demonstrate respect and fairness in dealings with drivers;
- Verify the quality of handlers on the dock;
- Follow up customer requests and ensure their satisfaction;
- Solve operational problems and manage unforeseen events;
- Participate in administrative tasks inherent to the position;
- Update information in the customer's system.
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have :
- Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in transportation logistics or equivalent experience
- 1 year experience in a similar position
- Computer literate
- Proficiency in Office suite
- Advanced level in spoken and written French
- Intermediate level of spoken and written English
