Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Cyber Security projects and initiatives focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM)
Initial 1.5-year contract opportunity in Ottawa, ON with very strong chance of extension to a total term of 3 years. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Local consultants with the ability to work on-site 2-3 days / week will be heavily prioritized however the contract can be worked % remotely.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with cyber technology (such as cloud security operationalization) projects, automation that typically involve multiple systems, processes, and stakeholders at various levels within the cyber division and across several IT portfolios, including the overall scope, schedule, and deliverables by applying project management methodologies for planning, Agile principles, reporting, change control and risk management
- Oversee Cyber Security projects and initiatives focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Develop and present project proposals, implementation plans, status reports and change and risk logs
- Prioritize and coordinate work to achieve project objectives, and ensuring the collaboration or other teams, as required
- Assist team with change requests and risk mitigation plans
- Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress
- Coordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect requirements related to project scope, business value, risk, and resources
- Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate proactively with other internal teams to coordinate interdependencies and optimize flow for delivery and operational teams
- Assist internal employees with Agile and project management practices and methodologies
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning retrospective meetings and backlog management to provide guidance to the delivery team to identify and prioritize deliverables
- Provide regular updates on progress and value delivery to IAM management and / or the sponsor / client
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed including all related documentations and processes
Must-Have-Skills :
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Management specialist overseeing a project team for the definition and implementation of cyber security solutions in a complex environment
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience working as a scrum master and coordinating multiple operational IT scrum teams, with a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud initiatives (AWS or MS Azure )
- Demonstrated experience in SailPoint IIQ and SailPoint IdentityNow projects, including operational transition
Nice-to-Have-Skills :
- Other relevant project management or agile certifications such as PMP, Certified Agile Leader, Kanban Management Professional (KMP)
