Your mission should you accept it :

We are looking for an Accounting Technician to join our team on our wind construction project in Beaupré, Qc. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting management of the construction site, ensuring accurate tracking of costs, payments and financial documents. You will work closely with site managers, suppliers and financial services to ensure the proper management of project finances while respecting deadlines and budgets.

Location : On site, Beaupré, Qc, KM422.

Do you have what it takes? Positive energy and...

  • Post-secondary training in accounting, management or similar field.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the construction sector.
  • Master French speaking and writting.
  • Mastery of office tools (Excel, Word) and accounting software (Sage, Cegid, CMIC, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of the Excel tool and its functionalities.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices specific to construction sites and applicable tax rules.
  • Organization, rigor and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Good analytical and communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners.
  • Autonomy and sense of initiative to resolve accounting problems in the field.

What you will do to complete this mission successfully :

  • Monitor accounting operations related to the construction site, such as purchases, payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Carry out the entry and control of invoices and supporting documents in compliance with internal procedures.
  • Check expenditure compliance with allocated budgets and alert in the event of an overrun or anomaly.
  • Monitor advances, deposits and payments from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and update bank reconciliation statements relating to site operations.
  • Produce financial dashboards and monthly reports relating to site costs.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents necessary for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in the management of orders and delivery notes in conjunction with the purchasing department.
  • Ensure management of expense reports for personnel assigned to the site.
  • Guarantee compliance with tax and social obligations related to the construction site.
