Job Summary :

The Junior Specification Writer will play a vital role in assisting with the development of project specifications for healthcare facilities, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain valuable experience in specification writing within the architecture and design industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with senior specification writers and project teams to develop accurate and comprehensive project specifications for healthcare projects.
• Assist in reviewing project drawings, plans, and design documents to identify appropriate materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Research and select suitable construction materials, products, and systems for healthcare facilities based on project requirements and industry standards.
• Draft technical specifications and construction documents using standard specifications software and tools.
• Ensure that project specifications adhere to building codes, regulations, and healthcare industry guidelines.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants to integrate specifications seamlessly into project documents.
• Review and update master specification libraries to ensure current and accurate information for future projects.
• Participate in specification coordination meetings to communicate technical requirements to project teams.
• Assist in reviewing product submittals and shop drawings to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new construction materials, and advancements in healthcare design.
• Support other documentation tasks as needed within the architecture design practice.
