Our highly regarded client, a leading business law firm, is seeking a Client Services Clerk to join their Calgary office. This role plays an important part in ensuring clients and internal teams receive exceptional service during meetings, events, and day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate is polished, proactive, client-focused, and enjoys a hands-on role supporting hospitality, technology, and administrative services across the firm.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager of Client Services & Technical Support, the Client Services Clerk is responsible for :
Meeting & Event Services
- Coordinating daily boardroom meetings and internal events, including setup and teardown of food and beverages, restocking supplies, and ensuring rooms are tidy and guest-ready.
- Supporting boardroom technology requirements (Microsoft Teams rooms, laptop-based video conferencing, presentations, audio equipment, etc.).
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure both virtual and in-person meetings run smoothly.
- Coordinating catering, including menu planning, vendor communication, delivery logistics, and quality control.
Hospitality & Office Support
Restocking kitchen and lounge areas with beverages, snacks, and amenities.Maintaining cleanliness and organization of shared spaces, including coffee machines and kitchen equipment.Ordering kitchen, lounge, and hospitality supplies and managing cost tracking.Providing backup support to reception and the mailroom as needed.Assisting with administrative tasks such as printing, courier runs, bank deposits, court deliveries, and other ad-hoc requests.What You Bring
1–2 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.Strong comfort with technology and troubleshooting equipment such as video conferencing systems, microphones, laptops, teleconference units, photocopiers, and switchboard phones.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).Post-secondary education in Business or Administration considered an asset.Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple requests simultaneously.High attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Flexibility to work overtime when required.This position is ideal for someone who :
