Subsea Installation Engineer
he Subsea Installation Engineer is responsible for the Project Management Environment (PME) Stage 3 and 4 technical deliverables for the mooring replacement project. This role is responsible to work with the nominated installation contractor and anchor handling vessel contractor to deliver engineering documentation specific to the anchor handling vessel (AHV) activities associated with the project such that the project is technically prepared to move forward into execution. The ideal candidate will provide engineering expertise, operational planning, and execution support to ensure safe and efficient anchor handling vessel activities. Travel offshore during the execution phase of the project will be required to fill the role of client representative onboard the nominated AHV. Previous mooring replacement project experience is preferred.
Responsibilities :
In support of the Mooring Replacement of Segment 4 to 6 :
- Provide oversight and technical assurance for all anchor handling tug contractor activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Attend regular meetings with project team, other internal departments, installation contractor, equipment supplier, and other 3rd parties to support development of installation procedures.
- Ensure readiness for pre-mobilization and vessel mobilization / demobilization activities, including verification of equipment, procedures, and personnel prior to offshore execution.
- Supervise and coordinate offshore installation operations, acting as the primary interface between the client and contractor teams.
- Monitor and report on progress, risks, and quality assurance throughout the installation campaign to support safe and efficient project delivery.
- Facilitate lessons learned reviews, and document and share lessons learned register. Co-ordinate with 3rd parties to capture project wide lessons learned.
- Serve as Client Representative onboard the Anchor Handling Tug (AHT) during offshore execution, maintaining clear communication and resolving technical issues as they arise.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering requiredP. Eng. certification required10+ years subsea engineering experience – hardware and / or installationExperience with mooring systems design and / or mooring system equipment repair / replacementExperience with anchor handling vesselFamiliar with codes, standards and appropriate safety criteria related to subsea equipment and offshore constructionCompetencies :
