Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Service Glazing Manager to support our Kelowna Branch located in Lake Country, BC (Office Location - 8775 1 Jim Bailey Crescent, Unit D, Lake Country BC, V4V 1L7), reporting to the Service Manager.
Day in the Life
- Lead and mentor field employees, ensuring alignment with company goals and service standards
- Help grow and build our Glazing Service business
- Daily review of project progress with the foremen and review of field reports
- Monitor quality, safety, and training requirements through regular visits to project sites
- Dispatch calls to field technicians, providing all necessary job information prior to their arrival on site
- Must take all service and emergency calls and maintain on-call status 24 hours per day, 7 days a week
- Ability to conduct presentations through lunch & learns
- Build strong relationships with existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Collaborate with the team to manage the workload, sales targets, and scheduling
- Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention
- Promote Flynn’s culture by modeling core values such as integrity, teamwork, and safety excellence
- Operations & Project Oversight
- Review and prepare quotes and tenders for glazing maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
- Oversee the preparation of reports, including photos and pricing
- Review invoicing, accounts receivable, and overall workflow using Flynn’s custom app with the Service Manager
- Manage and update project schedules and oversee safety audits
- Make strategic decisions on staffing, equipment, and fleet expansion

5 -10 years of progressive glazing experience in the construction industry, ideally with exposure to service glazing, facility management or building envelope managementProven leadership and supervisory experience, with a strong ability to delegate, plan, and manage teams effectivelyDemonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships, with a focus on service excellence and long-term growthEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business development and client satisfactionExceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with hands-on experience using industry specific tools such as Bluebeam and AutoCADReliable and strong problem-solving skillsWork independently as well as in a team-based environmentWork in a fast-paced environment and strong attention to detail$85,000 - $95,000 a year
