Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with data engineering experience to support data-driven systems initiatives and cross-functional technology projects.

3 months contract. Fully remote (candidates must be based in BC or ON and work PST hours)

Must-Have :

• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience supporting technology, data or system-related projects ideally within a banking, or financial services environment
• Hands-on experience with data engineering concepts including SQL, ETL, data modelling, and data integration
• Experience driving capability roadmap, build use cases and working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory)
• Experience supporting integration, data pipeline, or reporting / BI initiatives
• Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements
• Experience with process mapping, workflow documentation, and system / data analysis
• Strong experience facilitating sessions, running workshops, and presenting findings to business and technical stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including business, IT, and data engineering
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
