Our midstream client is looking for an Intermediate Pipeline Integrity Engineer to drive deformation threat analysis, ILI assessments, and excavation support activities.
Must-haves :
- Minimum 2+ years of pipeline integrity experience , specifically related to deformation threats ( dents, wrinkles, buckles, ripples, ovalities ).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( Mechanical, Materials, Civil, or related ).
- Eligible for APEGA registration (EIT or P.Eng.) — or already registered.
- Hands-on experience with ILI deformation data analysis and defect assessment .
- Ability to assess deformation defects and identify required inspection or remediation activities.
- Experience supporting integrity excavations , including determining safe excavation pressures and evaluating repair findings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and produce accurate assessments.
Nice-to-Haves :
Working knowledge of PHMSA 49 CFR and CSA Z integrity requirements.Experience with dent ECA (Engineering Critical Assessment).Experience developing automation or coding tools for data processing (Python, VBA, etc.).Prior experience working with ILI vendors and understanding ILI tool specifications.
