Our client in the Fraser Valley is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Production Manager to join our team in Chilliwack, B.C. Reporting to the General / Plant Manager, the Production Manager oversees the production process, drives the development of efficient manufacturing processes and methods, manage production quality, and develops staff and trains team members. The right candidate can engage effectively with both direct and indirect staff to lead projects to a successful conclusion. The Production Manager is responsible for the overall functionality of the production and warehouse team. The Production Manager is responsible for manufacturing including machining, fabrication, electrical and assemblies of IMW products in accordance with IMW documented procedures and instructions.

Job Requirements :

The successful candidate will have 5 plus years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment; Trades certificate from a recognized program and / or technical diploma required; Knowledge of equipment tools, mechanical devices, manufacturing processes used to manufacture compressor equipment; 5 years CNG Compressor and Dispenser manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent; Experience in optimizing manufacturing processes and flows (e.g. Lean Manufacturing principles);Worked in an ISO 9001 quality system or equivalent; Implementation of "lean" manufacturing techniques; Experience reading shop drawings
