Certified CGSB Level 2 (UT, MT), Welder Level 2 (VT) and AMPP-NACE level 2 Inspector - Contract

Job Description

SGS is looking to hire a  Certified CGSB level 2 (UT, MT), CSA level 2 (VT) and AMPP-NACE level 2 Inspector as an independent contractor for a QA / QC assignment that will start in January 2026 and last approximatively one year. The exact location is Princeton, Ontario.

The contractor will be required to complete Visual and NDT Inspections once a week (8 hours on-site Inspection) and NACE level 2 Inspections 3 times a week / 8 hours on-site inspections for a total of 4 days a week.

Scope of work includes :

• Review of workmanship on steel fabrication for conformance with project specifications and Review of fitting Dimensional Checks
• Visual Examination - 100% of all welds.
• Ultrasonic Test Method - 100% of all complete penetration welds.
• Magnetic Particle Test Method – 100% of all filet welds.
• Inspection of Bolts of Slip-Critical and not slip critical or pre-tensioned connections
