About the role

We are looking for an IT Technical Advisor Specialist to join our growing team!

What you'll accomplish with us :

Participate in the planning, implementation and integration of network and security technology architecture solutions for large-scale, complex projects.

Assist and work closely with developers in the use of various middleware services.

Establish the network environment by developing system configuration, directing system installation, and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.

Participate in 24 / 7 production support for deployed solutions.

Support middleware components and their environments with the various infrastructure teams.

Work within the operations team to manage incidents and requests, and assist with high-level support during major incidents.

Actively contribute to the evolution and automation of our platforms and processes

Participate in RFPs, RFQs and BOMs as required.

Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies.

Participate in the improvement of key data quality processes to execute them with simplicity, speed, quality and efficiency.

Participate in system testing activities related to infrastructure solutions.

What you'll get out of it :

University degree, college diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8 to 10 years' experience as a computer systems administrator or relevant experience

Excellent organizational skills and ability to achieve company objectives while adapting to change and a fast pace of work.

Experience and practical knowledge of applying agile methods and processes.

Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and implementation of Baselines such as CIS.

Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze options, understand trade-offs and arrive at the best solution.

Works in a fast-paced, autonomous environment

Excellent communication skills

Strong understanding and experience of application technologies : Automation (Ansible, GitHub),IBM Datapower, MQ, JBOSS, DevOps , Linux

For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada .
