Financial Services Representative – Full Time – 6 Month Contract

Join Meridian Credit Union as a Financial Services Representative and help our Members achieve their financial goals. In this role you will provide front‑line transactional services and advisory sales, build relationships, and promote community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and fulfill Member account requests and highlight growth opportunities through referrals.
• Provide Members with advice on investment and credit products that fit their needs.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect Member privacy.
• Resolve Member concerns autonomously and build action plans.
• Participate in branch activities to expand Member relationships and support our Digital Ambassador Program.
• Act as an engaged teammate, building internal relationships and supporting Retail Experience goals.
• Promote Meridian in the community through events and the good neighbour program.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education with experience in customer‑service sales or financial‑services sales.
• Strong desire for career growth within financial services and knowledge of the industry.
• Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office/Outlook.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Effective time‑management, organisational and problem‑solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: CAD 41,400 – 62,200 annually.
