Position Title : HR Generalist(Site)
Overview :
The HR Generalist(Site) plays a pivotal role in supporting Human Resources functions at our Eskay Creek Mine site in Northern BC. Operating on a 2-week on, 2-week off schedule, this position reports directly to the VP, People & Culture and Mine Manager at our Eskay Creek mine site. This role will oversee various HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, policy communication, employee issue resolution, conduct investigations and provide training and coaching. This role will work with on-site departments, managers and employees as well as the Vancouver HR team.

This role is site-based, operating within a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities. The position involves working at a remote mine site at a 12-hour daily schedule on a 2-week on, 2-week off rotation. Exposure to extreme cold weather conditions is to be expected.
Transportation will be provided to the Eskay Creek camp facilities, with flight transportation available for applicants from designated Point of Hires in BC and Alberta to the Terrace airport.
Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Canada. Priority consideration will be given to Indigenous Nations members residing within project territories.
Compensation :
The expected salary range for this position is CA$85,000 - CA$100,000, in line with the competitive job market for rotational-shift roles carried out in remote locations in British Columbia. Salary ranges are guidelines and any job offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and / or experience.
