Opportunity Summary

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a team that collaborates to drive creative solutions for our clients and internal / external stakeholders. You will serve as the primary lead for stakeholder engagement, own the project execution, and ensure projects are completed safely and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Project lifecycle from start to finish, which includes financial oversight and schedule adherence.
• Play an active role in business development, proposal submissions, interviews, presentations, and serve as the liaison for owners, architects, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Work closely with the site team to develop a strategic project plan, engineering methods and monitor the project schedule.
• Develop recovery strategies where required to ensure project schedule and budget adherence.
• Understand and enforce prime contract and subcontract responsibilities and obligations.
• Negotiate and issue purchase orders, subcontracts, and monitor their progress, and schedule.
• Work with the accounting department to ensure project accounting is accurate and timely.
• Prepare and issue progress applications to the owner according to established schedules and the prime contract.
• Review and approve subcontractor payment applications and expedite owner payment in accordance with the contract terms.
• Manage the approval of all change orders, including negotiating and assessing cost and schedule impact to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Manage all facets of project closeout, direct final inspections, manage punch lists, and ensure all record documents are properly archived and transferred to the owner.
• Participate in tender closings when requested.
• Supervise, mentor junior staff and train project personnel to foster a culture of quality and safety.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with external and internal clients and represent the company at industry functions and events.
