Description
Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment
Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required
Specific Skills & Experience
Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
Demonstrated troubleshooting experience, specifically on CAT equipment
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
Experience with Power Systems and / or Marine equipment is an asset.
Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

This is a shop role based out of our Surrey branch on a 5x2 schedule
A condition of employment may include the ability to wear a respirator where applicable
